Score!

Well, not in THAT sense (yet) but The Engineer has asked me out tonight for Sunday, after our very fun date last night at a tapas restaurant. (And no, I did NOT have any chorizo!) The Frock must have worked! ;)

And in one of those "Only In New York" stories, after he put me in a cab last night, the cabbie immediately started off the conversation with, "He's good looking. How many dates has this been?" and then proceeded to exhaustively analyze the status of my love life & relationship (such as it is) with Le Engineer, as well as comparing dating websites with me. Since he is 37 and reasonably attractive, this was not (quite) as bizarre as it sounds. (A 60 year old asking and comparing notes would have been a little weird.)

So tonight I met my friend Sam for dinner after meeting with my PoW. Bar Six (13th & 6th Ave) was tasty and tonight's peach cobbler dessert special was GIGANTIC, in a cast iron skillet the size of a salad or bread plate. Sam kindly took pity on me and helped me demolish the dish. ;)

However, this gave me even more motivation to do my walk up Central Park West, where I once again saw a raccoon dumpster diving

Okay, I'm pooped (probably from that walk) so I will leave y'all with a photo of this lovely mug made by my friend Maura, whom I traded with for one of my bowls Tuesday night.

(What to wear for drinks with the Lehman Guy.... hmmm....)
