Yes, I can actually post about something besides food (but don't worry -- the food part will show up next time, heh).Above is the progress I have made on my sweater for my friend Margaret's incipient son (an odd use of the word incipient, I know, but I am too sleepy to think of the proper term for little XY). Need to work on the button bands and sleeves, but otherwise am in good shape schedule-wise. The only odd thing I've done so far is using variegated brown yarn for the one-row stripes, which resulted in a little "blob" of cream near the buttonband. Oh well. And the bottom "bluish" area is actually a blue-green mix, if you click on the photo to see it enlarge.
I find that I am actually falling asleep as I type, so no more updates at the moment. Time for sleep. Will try to pound out some words in the morning before I head off to CT for a baby birthday party.
